Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto

Hotel Cesare Augusto was a fantastic location. Very close to the main Piazza and the train station. There were excellent restaraunts nearby and the vibe was very very nice. There was also a very clean and tidy laundromat just 200m from the hotel which was excellent for traveller on a longer trip that need to do washing and keep the costs down. The breakfast selection was excellent and something for everyone. if you are a little on a budget you can make great use of the breakfast to fill up for most of the day. Sorrento train station was just 150m from the hotel and easy to reach Napoli Centrali

...Everything was lovely...I had been there ten years before..with my husband...who sadly passed away early..so I wanted to go back for my memories...

Central location and a 2 minute walk from the train station. This hotel exceeded our expectations, we stayed for 3 nights half board. On arrival we were welcomed by warm and friendly staff who gave us a free upgrade to the 4th floor with a sea view. Our room was modern and bright, with a great waterfall shower. The room had everything we needed with tea and coffee facilities, optional mini too for an extra fee. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast choice was one of the Best I’ve experienced in Italy and was very well managed. Our half board evening meals was to a high standard with plenty of choice, we never had a bed meal while at the hotel and all waiting staff was very professional. Pool was lovely, with fresh clean towels provided. Rooftop bar was lovely for a sunset drink. We will be visiting Sorrento next year and we’ll definitely be choosing the same hotel again. We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The room had been recently renovated - it was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was so clean and well-maintained. We also received coupons for complimentary welcome prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The room had a stunning view over the town, which made our stay even more special. Despite the large number of tourists in Sorrento, the hotel felt very calm and quiet - perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was excellent, with a big variety of food and drinks to choose from. The location is amazing - just a short walk from Sorrento’s main attractions, and very close to the central station. It’s super convenient for catching a bus to the airport, Amalfi, or Positano, and for taking a train to Naples. Highly recommended!

Excellent location near the town center and train station for those who travel by trains. Welcoming friendly staff. Big rooms. Beautiful big lobby and rooftop. Good breakfast. Towels in our room were changed twice a day. Efficient elevators.
